Extracted and processed on the site at Brinklow Quarry, building sand is a fine sand classified red in colour. This product meets both the BS199 and BSEN building sand standards and is readily available. On the site at Brinklow Quarry, Premier Mortars have installed a premix mortar plant, which uses our building sand to manufacture and provide small builders to major housing developers with high quality premixed mortars meeting BS4781 standard.
This material is also used for asphalt applications and meets BS594 and BSEN Asphalt sand standards.
